Understanding Your Creation

We have the capacity to create all sorts of things in life — from high quality experiences that hold much meaning and depth, to lower quality quick fixes that do not sustain.

It is important to look at what we wish to create, and if it has the legs to stand the tests of time — or not.

Maybe we don’t want to create long term, but maybe we do want to create and cultivate something that is lasting, something that feeds us, and also has the capacity to feed those around us.

Hollowing ourselves out, to reach the deep cavernous parts of our soul, so as we are not distracted by what those around us are doing, or not conforming to the quick, attention grabbing trends or algorithms is certainly part of the path. Creating using our own authentic nuanced expression, truly uninhibited — is the path to any sense of longevity and satisfaction within our own creation process.

Creating something with soul, takes one touching their own soul. It takes one being so authentic and connected to themselves that what is created, is for pure love, for joy, for the soul need to express, for the impeccable alignment — and oftentimes a by product of that touching that expression within, connects us to the people, captivates their attention and we are automatically recognised for our talents.

But usually, if the creation process is so soulful, so connected to what we long to birth, it doesn’t even matter if we do not receive outward recognition for it, because ultimately its self fulfilling soul material — it is for the love, and satiates something deep within us, parts that are not fed by any source of external validation.

Creating for the need to generate revenue can oftentimes kill the love for creation process. Most great artists will deeply honour periods of rest, honouring their own cycles, of interiorisation and then their outward spring — where their expression is ready to come out to bloom, for all to see and experience.

We can only create powerfully if we honour our own inner seasons.

The slower times are the times that deeply guide the bustling times — but more than anything the slower times are the times of great distillation, of internal alchemy, of banishing the old and laying it to rest — so as we can keep expressing very poignantly to the relevant space we find ourselves in.

These are the times of feeling ourselves so deeply, that there is such a deep knowing of what we are to be the conduits for.

It is certainly a process to become truly aware of what we are here to create, where all the little distortions are pulling us away from our own internal truth. Where we create from expectation, or the need for money, or the need for recognition. These are some very common aspects that pull us away from ourselves, but more than anything, pull us away from the heart of creation.

To understand these skewed pulls within ourselves, and furthermore to understand why we are creating and what we want to create, is the path to connecting to our authenticity, and to our highest timeline of expression.
