The build up to the New Moon in Cancer|The gift of the watch towers fall: The rise of the conscious

This will be a very soulful New Moon in Cancer, occurring on the 21|7|20, the second for this season, which is calling the energy to shift in a big way back to self nurturance, and for the community as a whole. With the wider perspective to be seen in the culmination to the Full Moon in Aquarius, we will be sure to see some events on a humanitarian scale take place, especially as Mars ingresses into Eris, the asteroid of chaos and discordia. When Mars, the warrior archetype meets the wrath of his powerful feminine archetype, some sort of volatility is sure to be felt, as a counter-reaction to established authority which reigns our current and engrained systems. The feminine is calling to dismantle the supremacy prevalent in our economic structure which filters all the way through to how our environment is managed, she is calling for balance with the masculine over these next months. The time of taking is over, we are being called back into harmony, into a mutually beneficial relationship, and with Eris on guard, she is not afraid to pack a big punch that leaves a long and lasting effect.

Our outer environment is said to be a reflection of our inner one, and a lot of information can be derived from our environments, rippling all the way through to our greater environment, Earth. Decoding and understanding these reflections comes down to a highly attuned level of self love and care, in which you are able to see all the synchronicities mimicked back to you in their own sentient language. Listening, and trusting are two key components of the feminine archetype, and this always comes back to trusting and honouring the self in what is being presented. We need to love and respect ourselves by saying no, when we know something doesn't feel right.

We only need to turn on the mainstream news to understand that something is definitely not right.

This year has certainly been likened to the tower card in the tarot, a lot of people only see the destruction and pain when this is pulled, yet this card offers one of the biggest gifts, as the structure s built on extremely poor foundations|false premises that can no longer be upheld. Sudden and shocking realisations and a heightened spiritual awareness comes with this deterioration, and this is what we must seek to review - our own foundational substratum during these harsh times, this is the gift of the ages.

To understand what is going on in the world right now, there has to be some pretty huge wake up call to wash the patriarchal|colonial debris away. These events at this pivotal time in history are prompting this mass awakening, as well as promoting seismic internal shifts within the psyche.

We must ponder, if everything is a reflection of us, we have a lot of digging to do, in order to actualise this great awakening that is prothesised.

The sun and moon are in dialogue once again at the final degrees of Cancer, making sure our hearts and our heads are together with us on this. The luminaries are making some extremely strong oppositions to the current cosmic task masters, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn. These oppositions are prompting a new soul alignment, otherwise we face the big forces of change and destruction, there are big tensions illuminated. We are the tightrope walkers, trying to get from A to B on the bridge of consciousness.

What requires a demotion off the pedestal in order to bridge this gap? what have we been idealising, or where have we been lacking clarity?

This requires looking beyond the smoke and mirrors, allowing space for the truth of the matter to be revealed, this transit speaks of some sort of imminent separation, a putting away of the old, and an invitation for the new to surface. There is a strong sense of expansion of the truth prevalent, this may be pointing towards past dogmas societally, or on the individual level, it may also point towards the discovery of an unmistakable inner truth that is being revealed throughout this transit.

Jupiter, with its far reaching expansion on the truth, meets with the turbulence of Pluto, as our underworlds are dismantled and is further bringing to our attention points where we may be out of alignment, this may be followed with a sense of contraction as the lunation progresses into the new moon as the Moon and Sun begin to form an opposition to Saturn.

As the contraction occurs, there may be a very strong sense of oppression felt, or even denial in regards to the truth, as we grapple with the rising of new states of awareness. On a more personal scale, there is the capacity for heightened vindictive behaviour to be expressed or power struggles, which could prompt change within personal inter-relationship dynamics. We can look to where the contraction is, and see that the contraction is only a mere invitation to heal something that is out of alignment. Karmic events are sure to be heightened at this time in the aftermath of the heavy eclipse season, as we are being ushered to dissolve outdated parts of ourselves, this is like the full system recalibration.

As we juggle lifes inherent natures of expansion and contraction, there is certainly an amplification and shakiness to what we may experience. Just as the seasons express these highs and lows, or unexpected and unprecedented events, we may look into taking some time out to assist in this recalibration, or on the contrary actively choose to surf these tides with vigour, in a business like demeanour. It will be up to the individual to which is the most empowering process personally. Whatever the case is, both can be seen as forging forward, one passive one active, each worthwhile and relevant. May we rise with undeniable faith, with the goodness and grace of the universe, as we are always and ever assisted in this process of levelling up.

Choose to be diligent to what and who we give our energy to, choose to be actively involved in re-education of grass roots matters that affect humanity as a whole, the choice to be an activist for those who cannot rise for themselves, the choice to support the smaller businesses over the big corporations, thereby giving the people the power.

Now is the time to come back to the community and come back to a more soulful way of living. This new moon is calling for it, the Nodes which speak of our evolutionary trajectory for humanity have also been calling for this for the past two years. We have been given so many chances over this time, the earth has been screaming, now is the time to wake up from the dream within the dream, and channel our own realities aside from what has been so forcibly conditioned from our predecessors.

Choose humanity, choose all sentient beings, choose the earth in which gives to us continually, without asking for anything in return. Now is the time to pay our respects to sacred knowledge passed down from elders, generation to generation, to the ones that have a connection to the land and the spirit that therein resides. It is through being at one with nature, one can yield a greater understanding on what it means to be alive - we have much to learn as this has been masked for eons by our systems.
