On Transience: Running + Hiding

Over the years, I’ve learnt so much about moving around.
I’ve been so many places, and no matter what, what is clear to me is that your shit will follow you round till you look at it, or not, whether you like it or not.
The outer circumstances may change, but the real thing that transforms your world is the changing of the inner tides — the changing of inner rhythms and ways.
And, as much as we try and escape through creating an outside narrative of idealised perfection, we cannot escape the raw truths going on inside.
If it doesn’t come out so blatantly, it can come out in skewed ways — like mental health problems, mystery illnesses, relational breakdowns, down to even vehicle and technology issues.
The more we resist the ways in which life tries to dialogue the lessons to us, the more the chaos persists within our reality.
We cannot escape the work it takes to heal, to change and shift our reality — and to furthermore birth our dreams.
Soul work is hard work.
But what’s left on the otherside — is the capacity to traverse the waves and big swells of life with much less resistance, seeing the greater lessons and our responsibility in it all — for we cannot properly shift something if we stubbornly choose not to see.
It might be harder to face in the short term, but there’s so much to long term gain.
Those are the places where we can find our power. Those are the places in which we alchemise.
