New Moon in Scorpio

Welcoming this New Moon in Scorpio, ushering us into a new cycle of growth, alchemy, personal embodiment, and power within deep union.

As all new moons are seed sewing times, we are metaphorically weeding out the gardens of our emotional|feelings matrix, and readying ourselves for a fruitful and abundant growth period. This New Moon is shepherding us with much anticipation towards the beginnings of eclipse season, which will be commencing on the next Full Moon in Taurus.

Therefore, we are painstakingly being ushered into change, before the season of great change, the final hoorah for the Gemini and Sagittarius nodal axis. This axis has marked such an intense period collectively, and we are to start to tune into what this last year and a half has meant for us personally as a result, and what that also means for us moving forward.

These growth periods oftentimes take us going within, and really being quite discerning and critical of what is no longer aiding our lives, and the way in which we function. Scorpio season is a time where we may be met with intensity, friction, themes around the more taboo aspects of life, like death, sex, money, power, and as a result we may be met with big endings, or new beginnings — which lead to our ultimate rebirth.

We are in a season of deep catharsis, which can be incredibly unifying for the soul if we navigate without the fear of change, and instead embrace it. Scorpio is all about the soul, its deep, intense, and very powerful — it is really about what we bind and dedicate ourselves too, what we find the most meaning in life through, what we really are most passionate about, and desire the most. It is the season of ultimate surrender and letting go.

It is a time where our closest associates and intimate partners may come under the spotlight, and we may be privy to perceive any power dynamics or weighted undercurrents within the relational sphere. How we earn our money, and what we do for our livelihoods can also come under the spotlight, as well as any necessary metaphorical deaths within our realms that mean we are able to step further into our infinite potential.

The luminaries are conjoined, and are making a square to karmic task master — Saturn, in Aquarius. This is sure to be stirring up some deeper frustrations and irritabilities — we may feel a sense of restriction or a confusion around how we wish to express. We may feel we are at some sort of dead end, and there are callings for a great transformation present. Yet, we may not know where are being called as the future is certainly not clear, and we are all being called into a advanced and innovative expression collectively, that has yet to be seen by humankind.

The traditional Ruler of Scorpio, Mars, is also creating a square to Saturn. Rising within us unconscious desires, and further heightening relational intensities — these could brood into arguments, and breakdowns as a result of this agitating aspect. Some self discipline is certainly required, but we must look with an open awareness to what we may in fact be trying to control? and also what we are not letting go of?

The Luminaries are also creating an exact opposition with Uranus, which is certainly heightening the intensity of this lunation, we may want to break free from the Status Quo as a result. It is further drawing up any stagnant or unnecessary content from our underworlds. We are to remain open to the new throughout this process, we may have deep seated urges to act spontaneously and somewhat erratically — action, redemption and liberation are the names of the game.

There is a trine occurring with Neptune, which is thankfully fostering a sense of ease and receptivity within any messages we may be receiving. Neptune brings forth the messages of the mystical and occult, it is a time to not necessarily be with the logic of the mind, or the practicalities of the Maya — but just simply be, and act according to our inner guidance, even if seemingly non-sensical.

It is a time to try and go with the flow, and only push where possible, and fully aligned. Otherwise, there may be feelings of beating our heads against a brick wall at times. Some messages could be coming through in super uncanny timing, and prophetic forms. If you are still battling with some feelings of intensity, take some time out in nature, or do practices that connect you with the more subtler realms, and the realm of your soul — Mediation and yoga are very powerful tools for traversing these strange and unprecedented times.

The chart ruler of this cosmic event is, Pluto, Lord of the Underworld — which is transiting through Capricorn. This planetary body, alongside Uranus in Taurus, is another driving force within the changing of the times — the breakdown of the old paradigm, and dissolution of the patriarchy. Pluto is extremely powerful, and is slowly but surely calling forth the death of anything that is not of service to the way the collective is operating. We are in the midst of a revolution, and revolutions are not easy. They take time, and they take much will power — but ultimately, in the afterglow of the drastic change, we are to be blessed with more harmony, and less distortional governing powers.
