With this New moon in Libra, we hit the middle point of the retrograde phase, we have access to a lot of information and messages, that allow for us to find our clarity, and within that our own inner equilibrium. Yet sometimes, the precursor of equilibrium is a sense of upset — as we are pushed to see what is taking our balance away from us, and sometimes this can be confronting.

Mercury is carrying with it messages in regards to where we may need to refine, as well as further realisations of what needs further work and review. We have information freely flowing to us now— and we have the energies fostering us to make sense of all the little nuances.

As the new moon is conjunct both Mercury, and the chart ruler Venus, we are particularly dealing in the relationship realm. It is important to realise that we are not only in relationship to others, but we are in fact in relationship to everything, it is a part of life. Life is one big relational trip, that is constantly ebbing and flowing within our realities and teaching us so much through reflection and polarity.

Venus is the chart ruler, and in Virgo she is in detriment — she is scrupulous, decisive, and here to heal and change in very practical and methodical ways. She is clearing and cleaning up this department for us, with the intention to refine and elevate our relational realm. She is a hard task master here however, as she strives for perfection, and sometimes that perfection isn’t always possible — she can forget about others humanity. And in this energy it can be hard to find the nuanced balance required.

Venus is in opposition to Neptune — this is a transit that is somewhat uncomfortable as we are dealing with the highest expression of love versus the practical real world side of it too. So we may be feeling confused or torn, things are really not clear as our souls and our heads are being pulled in two completely different directions. We may be pulled between our yearnings to completely merge, and the knowings of what our boundaries are and our non-negotiables.

Venus and Mercury are both creating a trine to Lord of the Underworld Pluto — this is a transformational trigger point, where the truth has the capacity to be deeply expressed, and furthermore if harnessed. We can be penetrating with our words and probing with our minds during this transit, yet also simultaneously expressing with the love and balance that Libra does so well with. And if we choose to express ourselves in a mutually receptive manner, there is the possibility for great evolution to take shape.

We have the energy and concentration to focus on the task at hand — decisions can be easily made and implemented. We can see the grander picture, and the steps that are necessary to create and cultivate our visions. We are refining our visions and we are building momentum for our future expression, yet we are to be delicate and not push too hard.

In these moments, alone time is the best medicine as we allow the energies to settle. New Moons are an inward time, where the energy of the cosmos is being drawn down into the earth, so it is a time for grounding, a time for introspection and profound realisation.

Respect the timings of the cosmos, and allow this time of review to really culminate. We may find even though we have a sense of clarity, a part of us is drawn to escape, to not feel, to not accept our fate or to not put in the necessary work required to make the change.

With the opposition to Jupiter, which is closest it has been to earth in 70 years, we have the capacity to be feeling this grandiose and expansive energy, where we have the capacity to really tap into very profound spiritual insights and perspectives. Yet with this aspect to the Sun and the moon, a dialogue emerges that can create tensions between our personal perspective and the perspective that really cultivates relational equilibrium.

Wherever Jupiter goes, he expands, and can expand greatly at this time what is not in congruence. On the contrary, when there is a mutually receptive alignment, we can have profound and life changing expansions through our personal relationships — at the end of the day, they are what this life experience is all about.•⚖️✨
