New Moon in Libra♎︎

We welcome this eve, the new moon in Libra. This one is a strong transit, certainly packing much of a punch as feisty Mars is in an exact conjunction to both the luminaries.

This marks a great seed sewing time, and furthermore a profound time of action. We are graced with the ability to approach our relational realms with much care and equanimity — if there is anything that has been out of balance, now is the time to address it, and call the balance back into alignment.

The chart ruler, Venus in Scorpio is making a close conjunction with the South Node in Sagittarius. This is speaking to stepping away from the past, whether it be metaphorically within the mind, or physically within our world — we are to learn a new way, and truly transform our vision, and the way we connect.

This could be in a new way, a way in which we may not have approached relationship before. This can also mean that feelings may be emerging from our subconscious — we may see where we are clearly not being met, and we therefore have to leave as a result. Or, alternatively, there may be the capacity to really work through any past withholding programs when it comes to the other, and come to a very amicable action plan and agreement moving forward.

We are to create and nurture those inter-personal relations that really connect with us on a deep soul level, the ones that facilitate and expand our perspective, call us into profound growth, whilst also greatly emotionally fulfilling us on the journey. This type of soul level depth is important for any longevity, as superficialities can only last so long. Any relationship requires one to work, not only on themselves, but the way they show up — giving energy and presence to continually gift life and rejuvenate.

The South Node is further calling forth this growth and soul level ascension. The choices that we make now will have a very profound ripple effect, ongoing for the future months and years to come. Yet, Venus’ opposition to the north node speaks to the difficulties of leaving the past behind us, and we may find ourselves gripping onto what once was in our last desperate efforts to try and save our rapidly deteriorating past.

Venus approaching the south node will be coming into a much stronger culmination, that will have a strong effect over the next days, and furthermore in the aftermath of this next lunar cycle. We may expect some strong negotiations or changes to take place over the weekend — as Venus and the South Node will be Exact on Saturday the 9th.

As the Sun approaches Mercury in retrograde simultaneously, there is the possibility for communication and messages flow. We may find ourselves speaking to connections of the past — concentrating on healing anything that still may be tender or unresolved.

Chiron the wounded healer, is opposite the Sun and the Moon in Aries. This is co-facilitating this lunation’s focus on healing the self, and harmoniously negotiating with the other. It is really about finding the right balance of give and take, allowing one to feel their sovereignty within connection. Shadow material certainly has the capacity to rear its head, and Mars could exacerbate the sting if we are not careful, and willing to sit in the fire with our stuff, and sit in the fire with the others in this process too.

Gardens grow best when they are cared for, so too does any relationship. Fires are sometimes the only thing that will allow new seeds to be sewn. Sometimes, it takes complete destruction to invite in new life, and fresh air into the environment. Now is a time to really give ourselves the best spring clean possible, so we can embrace what is waiting for us when we close our stale chapters.•☄️✨
