This evening, we are graced with a New Moon in Gemini, the sign of the twins — the first sign of polarity within the zodiac. Polarity is something that we can all very much learn from, because it really teaches us where we stand, where we aren’t willing to budge, or that there are in fact other ways of doing things.

There are multitudes of ways we could get to a similar outcome, and coming out of Taurus season, we can feel where we might have been too stubborn, or unwilling to budge in certain aspects of life. Taurus is all about tradition, the tried and true, and Gemini is all about the new and different — it's mutable air so it's consistently moving and changing in its orchestration.

True growth is change. And change is what is necessary for any evolution to occur — change is the number one contract that we sign when we incarnate here on Earth. When life keeps us on our toes, it keeps things interesting, and this is what change ensues — lessons and growth.

The Sun's movement into gemini brings a freshness and a much faster pace, it heralds a new time and way of moving forward that is discontinuous from the past. We are here to learn, life is a constant stream of lessons. Gemini is the sign of learning, versatility, communication, and sharing — taking on life in the utmost curious and playful demeanour. So it's the season that we are to embrace the much needed change that our soul longs for, taking all the lessons in our stride and conversing with our peers.

Sometimes we can brush things away, or other times we may be completely filled with overwhelm that we miss the finer details and nuance in which our reality is speaking to us. Either way, these messages are what is absolutely needed.

As Mercury is conjunct the North node of destiny, whatever is coming forth is signalling a new chapter, and there could be some ineffable synchronicities and serendipitous moments appearing in our realities at this time. Look out for the signs, as the universe speaks in many different forms, as it tries to catch our attention — it is trying to align us to our highest.

Mercury in Taurus is calling for a stronger embodiment, where our actions are in alignment with our words, and our thought forms. It brings through a Venusian energy in regards to our values, and our relationships / how we relate to the world around us — it is really about steadfast integrity.

We may feel pushed in one direction, or alternatively constrained in another — it is certainly a time where our reality and the path ahead is strewn with obstacles. But we are to forge forward, nimbly or not so. Whatever the case — we keep on pushing.
