New Moon in Capricorn

Tonight, we are graced with a New Moon in Capricorn.

This is a very powerful seed sowing time, where we have the capacity to implement new and profoundly revolutionary structures into our lives, that help shift the way in which we work, how we relate to ourselves, the other, and the world around us — creating stability and abundance within our lives.

This exhilarating and powerful energy is primarily due to the luminaries creating a harmonious trine to Uranus in Taurus. We are able to tap into a new flow of inventive concepts, introduce spontaneity into our spheres, and really explore uncharted territory that will make our lives all the better.

As the New Moon in conjunct asteroid Juno, we are certainly empowered with long term pay off, imbued with tenacity and integrity for any commitments that we make. So, we are to tune into what we wish to cultivate long term, and more importantly manifest into our realities. We may find ourselves uncannily making new commitments coinciding with this New Year as a result of this aspect.

The chart ruler of this lunation is Saturn in Aquarius, and it is creating a Square to Uranus in Taurus. This is an energy that creates a feeling of restriction in a sense, and desire to break free from the status quo may be prevalent, and we may really forge forward on our own unique paths.

This energy can permeate into our spheres by being inspired to create our own structures and routines that work for us and us alone, as for when we allow ourselves to be the individuals that we are, we give permission for all of those who we come into contact with to do so themselves.

Sometimes there is a very fine line between finding our freedom, yet also adhering to certain responsibilities in which life endows us with. So now, is a time to really tune into our own very specific balance, our non-negotiables, and how they are curated within our life. It can certainly be a time where one can be challenged by looming change, if we are stuck in our old and outdated ways.

If you find yourself in a rut, this is the perfect time to initiate yourself out of it. Otherwise, Saturn has the propensity to really kick us in the butt later down the line sooner rather than later is better I say — as the grips and whips of Saturn are inevitable.

The luminaries are creating a harsh square aspect to Chiron in Aries, this aspect ain't the prettiest to be perfectly honest, and we may find ourselves faced with sensitivities, triggers, and old patternings arising from our past. Our feeling and emotional body may be heightened, and we may feel ourselves being pushed in ways in which we wish we weren't. This however, is a great opportunity for healing as triggers are always the greatest teachers in our lives — when we give ourselves the time and patience to explore the root cause of what is arising.

The luminaries are certainly shining light on these more uncomfortable aspects, to really push us to clear and create new space within. They are pushing us to bridge our past, with our emerging future self, so as we can move away from limiting paradigms, and move forwards in a powerful new direction. Its our choice to choose change, and to choose ourselves so we are not limited by any outdated karmas or concepts within our fields.
