Mars turns Retrograde in Aries|Combustion, Re-direction, Re-Birth. ☄️✨

We have a big — once in every 2 year transit that is occurring, and after all the retrogrades we have had this year, it is only fair that Mars — the God of War, gets his time on the throne to really Re-consider the current course of action.

When Mars is in Retrograde, we are being asked to reassess things on the personal level, that will define the way in which we pioneer our path as individuals — we are being given the chance to change the course in which we have been steering thus far, opting for a new beginning. This is a time where we should not be acting without forethought, although we may feel passions and intensities rising throughout the next 2 months, as Mars builds in his backward momentum through his home sign of Aries.

Mars in Aries is Cardinal energy that initiates and thrives off movement, so we are certainly working with the more impulsive sides of our nature. Aries energy almost has to do before it thinks, taking on the consequences and the lessons, and integrating them at a later stage.

So, by taking things slowly, one step at a time instead of getting wrapped up in the enhanced retrograde energy, we are able to work with the change, and not against it in a destructive manner. Other ways in which we can counteract this energy is to make sure that we are exercising, or in fluid movement regularly which can help in transmuting any tensions that accumulate.

During this transit we may find we really have our work cut out for us, as we may face difficulties in keeping our cool, as Mars’ energy can be strong, forceful and blatant, and as he is the warrior archetype — has a temper to be reckoned with. This is where we will need to exercise the power of choice in our lives, to really step outside of the identification, and into a state of acceptance| non-reactivity, as we are being energetically forced to take a strong and hard look at ourselves and our desires.

If we are to be proactive with meeting any challenges at face value, we can look towards transforming any anger, fear, jealousy or distrust, by graciously leaning into it, and learning from it.There is gold to be found in every emotion that rises, it’s about seeing the triggers as invitations to understand ourselves and our instinctive natures that may not always be of service.

Markedly, Mars will be making a square to Saturn in Capricorn, which has been a key player in the current world level destabilisation, along with Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn. When Mars meets in this extreme angle with Saturn, we face a crisis in consciousness prompting for sudden redirection — and we are graced with 3 squares between these maestros this year alone, so we are very much being pushed!

There is undoubtedly the capacity to feel pronounced reactivity, that could lead to severing through impulsive contraction. As Saturn is the Lord of time and Karma, this can also mean endings to karmic relationships and agreements in which we have been relentlessly working through and harvesting the lessons from.

By the end of September when the exact square is occurring with Saturn, Mars will be conjunct Eris the Goddess of war, and one can only imagine there to be some explosive events materialising, not only on the personal scale, but the world scale too. As Mars comes into an alignment, trining the fated nodes of destiny in early October, we may find that this is a strong time for a natural split of an old paradigm, and for an integration of new information and values that assist with the ascension process, as we further expand into unchartered territories.

Over the next months we are given the chance to work tenaciously towards reclaiming our power over anything that might be taking us out of our inner equilibrium, by aligning with the all pervasive power of re-birth.•🙏🏽✨
