Libra Season ♎︎ | Equinox Blessings

We hit the mid point of the cycle, where we are in luminary balance — we have equal day and night witnessed and felt by all around the globe.

We find a sense of ease and peace, as the seasons have noticeably transitioned from the extremes of Summer and Winter. We are ushered into a new cycle — Spring in the Southern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Northern.

We are in a season marking harmony, beauty, justice, relations and the other. It is a point in the lunar cycle ruled by Venus, and Venus is making a very strong and powerful transit through the sign of the underworld — Scorpio.

Venus is in detriment here, Scorpios turbulent waters are difficult to traverse for this Venusian beauty. As Venus enjoys frolicking in calm waters — and Scorpios waters could be likened to a storm out at sea.

Scorpio revels in intensity, the transformation that these heightened states bring, and all things taboo — it certainly ain’t pretty. These are aspects in which Venus tends to shy away from, as they can oftentimes be confronting, making the strongest of stomachs uneasy.

Venus in Scorpio is not for the faint of heart. It’s expression is powerful, deep, seductive, alluring, and intense — but in its negative expression, it can be manipulative, and we can feel and participate in power struggles as a result.

This means that we may be urged to look far beyond the surface over this next lunation — to really feel into the nuts and bolts of our inter-relational realm. We may feel like we are out at sea, diving deep into our relational matrix and into our psyche.

How we are functioning may surface, whether it be harmoniously, or not — will be brought to the forefront for close examination.

We will be asked to acknowledge if there are any manipulative tendencies or distortional power struggles, and delve into to crux of why they are perpetuating into our sphere. Or, we may look to if there is an equal give and take within our primary relationships — and if not, we will be given the opportunity to alchemise in response. Things certainly have the capacity to get a little heated, both passionately and defensively in the process.

Socialising and connection runs intrinsic to our very nature, it is a core need as a human. But sometimes, it can be hard to say no, and really honour our own state of being — because our feelings of duty to the other, fear of saying no and missing out, can often override our personal needs.

We can oftentimes loose ourselves in connections, or get distracted in the mundane nature of life’s tasks — forgetting about how beautiful life really is. When we loose our connection to ourselves and the world around us, it takes away from our capacity to truly enjoy life. This lack of presence and gratitude, oftentimes extends into taking others for granted, passive aggressive behaviour and relational turbulence.

Our relationship to ourselves should be our primary relationship, and this is integral to note, as we can find ourselves completely sidetracked from our path, not prioritising our personal desires and trajectory first and foremost.

And, therefore we do not participate in activities that purely give us joy and stimulate our souls on the individual level. We must give to ourselves, so we can then give to others — it’s the only way it works.

Time is important — time to both ourselves, and also the gift of time to those who we dearly cherish. Boundaries may be looked at as a result, versus the desire to merge, feel and connect with the other deeply — prioritising that special time too.

Boundaries are our key to creating a greater foundational inter-relational paradigm, based around the way in which we connect and respect every single person involved — ourselves included. Hand in hand with boundaries, comes communication. And, this is the gift of Libra — to communicate in the most discerning and tranquil manner possible.

To find this balance is the challenge of Libra, and the challenge of inter-relating throughout the duration of lives. It is a constant state of of trying to come back to this sense of equilibrium and harmony in all aspects of life, so we can share life’s beauty with everyone.•⚖️✨
