Initiations into Energy

I’ve learnt so much about energy this past year, particularly about the power of the mind — the power of our thoughts and attention, and how our thoughts — are our energy field, and therefore a large part of what we experience.
I can say for sure, our energy flows where our attention goes, and in that premise, realities and worlds are activated, opened and furthermore lived.
When I have a curiosity about entities on my mind, I encounter them in people, or in the spaces I find myself in. When I’m thinking about ghosts, they come to me to be crossed. When I am even thinking about others and our relationality — pathways are activated that create a psychic connection between us.
So much information, and energy exchange is available to us when we simply direct our focus. But, herein lays the challenge, as we also need to be very careful with where and to whom we are directing our attention to, as they are the pathways and connections we creative or activate.
Our minds are one of our greatest tools and assets, but they are also one of the biggest adversities that we have to face and conquer. Our mind, and our thoughts that we generate, are what can truly make or break us. So, working with our minds dialogue is one of the major paths to our mastery. Really cultivating the capacity to say no — or to shift our focus.
(it’s also imperative that we have the capacity to be with the more submersive and uncomfortable dialogues and aspects of life, and the human experience, but it’s more so about where we draw the line, and say enough is enough — once you have reached a state of comprehension. As of course these aspects are what more than anything propels unquantifiable growth within. For the point of the journey of the underworld is to emerge.)
Our thought forms and where we direct our attention is our utmost responsibility. It’s what can make our day — and furthermore it’s what makes things possible. But on the contrary it can lead us down a path of negativity and destruction.
It is certainly an acquired art-form to be discerning with what we are creating — that takes a whole lot of time, finesse and embodied recognition of all the subtleties of each and every single thought we birth, and what we are opening our energetic pathways up to as a result.

Here’s to my mind, my greatest challenge.
But recognising it’s power, more than ever, as an on and off switch to all in which I experience, in this profoundly responsive, magnetic and energetic reality I find myself traversing.
