Just as true healing is synonymous with safety — letting go is synonymous with wholeness — and furthermore the recognition of wholeness, is what facilitates the forward momentum of the healing process.

Most people don’t actually have the capacity in their lives to get to a true space of regulation — being regulated is what allows one to go beyond the very common flight or fight responses.

So, it is paramount within any healing process, that spaciousness for regulation is made. Most people live in such a way that there is no space for them to allow any sort of regulation to occur.

S P A C E is what allows C H A N G E.

And, space is what is needed for deep contemplation and awareness.

But what is needed within that space —  is safety. Safety in a person, a place, a practice, but ultimately within ourselves — nervous system regulation is our path to find that place within.

Space and safety is an absolute privilege, that not all have the capacity to feel within their realities — and that is why there is so much inter-generational trauma, and furthermore, inescapable cycles seen within people and their communities.

Oftentimes, the web of trauma is woven so tightly into one’s lifestream, that it’s just too hard for people to find their way out.

It is all consuming, and it is all that is known.

To heal, requires letting go — letting go of all the stories, all of the things that make us feel like we are not whole, not loveable, not enough, not worthy. Letting go is also knowing that we can’t hold it all.

We oftentimes cling so tightly to the things that no longer serve us, even the monotonous merry-go-round of dialogue in which we harp on to ourselves with — telling ourselves tales that keep us in loops of self perpetuated negativity and stress.

When we feel whole, we know we have nothing to lose, we know we are safe, we know when we can let go, and we know that it’s in our best interests for our forward trajectory.

There are so many things in our realities which tell us we are not whole, from the fashion and beauty industries, through to the tech megaliths with all the filters and avatar personas that we can imagine — hell, even the current day neo-healing, coaching and health industries monetise off people not feeling whole.

To feel whole within ourselves these days is a mission in itself, and no wonder we have an entire population unable to let go of the heavily conditioned consumeristic and market driven ways, to transfigure into a new way that will help not only themselves, but the future of our world.

When we feel whole, we have a level of security that permeates from us, it’s an inner trust in ourselves, and furthermore an innate trust in life.

When we feel whole, we have the capacity to surrender to the currents of life — to forward momentum, to our growth and evolution.

For we cultivate an understanding for the higher perspective of the perils in which we have faced in life — knowing we are ultimately only touched by all we have endured, in ways in which give us inner wisdom and profound substratum.

Healing is the transmutation of our pain, into our power.

Healing is the deep and internal recognition of our wholeness.

When we feel whole within ourselves, anything is possible.

And, as a result, we are more willing to put ourselves on the line, to try new things, to go beyond any prior boundaries or edges that we may have held, as we know that any mistakes that we might make in this life, hold great learnings, yet, are carried off with the winds.

Healing is our liberation.

And, our liberation lays in radical self acceptance of all the parts of ourselves, both beautiful and perceivably ugly.
