We are in the midst of a very powerful and transformative culmination of energy — the Full Moon in Cancer, which is opposite Pluto, Lord of the Underworld.

As the Sun is forming an extremely close conjunction with Pluto, we are experiencing a time marked by strong illuminations from our depths. And as a result, we could be faced with emerging shadow material in which we may need to process. Shadow material can be hard to face at times, because it means that we really have to face ourselves, and our own humanity — and doing just that means true humility, and dropping our protective masks.

This lunar event marks a peak point of transition, a time of change, and a time of transformation. As we can perceive the very impactful last two week journey from the New Moon in Capricorn.

This time is an inherent time for rest, to really take stock of our progress and to sit with where we are currently at — rather than a time to really take action.

It is a time to be in the hearth and in the home, to rest and nourish ourselves, and take a timely break from the Capricorn season shenanigans, which may have us feeling a little overworked and dreary. Capricorn season can be a great time of accomplishment, but the truth is sometimes, our best work is done when we are in fact resting.

Full Moons generally mark a heightened time of emotions, that can oftentimes feel quite extreme, and with the Full Moon falling in the sign of Cancer, this is no exception. As the Moon is ruled by the sign of Cancer — which governs the tides of the ocean, and therefore our emotional matrix — this means that we may need to process things locked within our feelings matrix, or we may be overwhelmed by a gamut of emotion, or parts of ourselves and our lives that we may have forgotten or purposely ignored.
